SHE became famous as the one of the loud-mouthed Essex girls in the BBC comedy Birds of a Feather but these days Pauline Quirke is looking for the stars of the future.
On Saturday she was in Chelmsford to open another branch of her drama school - the second one to be setup in the county in the past month.
She officially opened her academy for performing arts, called PQA, at Chelmer Valley High School on Saturday.
She said: “I am so pleased that so many children want to come along and join in the fun with us.
“The PQA approach to drama schools is simple - a back to basics method that concentrates on just having fun with acting which builds confidence and communication skills.”
Drama coach at PQA in Chelmsford will be Steve Hawke.
