FIRE CREWS from Suffolk and Essex are currently working to contain a chemical spill in Halstead.
Hydrochloric acid is leaking from a lorry at the Bluebridge Industrial estate on Fifth Avenue.
Two crews from Hadleigh and two appliances from Colchester were called at about 3.58pm and are on the scene making efforts to contain the spill.
There have been no reported casualties.
