COOKING legend Delia Smith is to return to TV with a new show to celebrate her 40-year career, the BBC has announced.
Delia, 67, who lives in Suffolk, will recreate her most popular recipes using modern ingredients and a modern budget, in a series of half-hour shows to air on BBC2.
The show is set to be called 40 Years of Delia, but there is not date as yet for broadcast.
The series will also include comment from celebrity fans such as fellow Norwich City FC supporter Stephen Fry and will look at the influence Smith's recipes have had on cooking in the UK.
