Barrie Evans was the only Fen Tiger to win a race - he was first past the flag in three - and add to that a fall when he was leading on a tactical ride he certainly continues to lead from the front.
However, with the other heatleaders David Mason and Mark Thompson only mustering seven points between them it is obvious the team is not packing a big enough punch away from West Row.
The Fen Tigers will have to up their game on Sunday (6pm) when near neighbours King's Lynn come to West Row, which is sure to be another hard match for the home side.
The Barracudas have redeclared their side after losing both reserves to injury in the last week.
Mildenhall: 1. David Mason, 2. R/R, 3. Barrie Evans, 4. Den Felton, 5. Mark Thompson, 6. Oliver Rayson, 7. Joe Jacobs.
Kings Lynn: 1. Adam Allott, 2. Ricky Scarboro, 3. Adam Lowe, 4. Jamie Smith, 5. Darren Mallett, 6. Chris Widman, 7. Scott Campos.
