A 37-year-old woman is today being detained under the Mental Health Act following flat fire in Lowestoft.
The woman was arrested on Saturday on suspicion of arson endangering life after the fire in Shadingfield Close.
Firefighters tackled the blaze at around 1.30pm on Saturday after smoke was reported coming from the roof of the property.
The flat was unoccupied at the time and no-one was hurt, but residents in the block were evacuated.
Police are investigating the fire, which caused substantial damage to the flat, and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
