The organisers of Swaffham's annual charity golf day, have announced who will benefit from next month's big event.
Swaffham Rotary and Swaffham Golf Club have said that this year the two nominated charities are Big C Norfolk - a cancer charity and SSAFA Norfolk - a charity who help those from the armed forces.
Trevor Greef, president of Swaffham golf club, said: 'We were delighted that Rotary has once again chosen the Swaffham Golf Club to hold this annual event and we are delighted to announce that the club will be entering a team in the competition.'
Rotary Club President Malcolm Whittley said: 'This is the sixth year we will have held a charity golf day. In that time, we have raised over £10,000 for local charities. We are delighted to be raising money for two very worthwile causes again this summer.
The event takes place on July 23.
