A Suffolk hotel has been named one of the best in the UK by a luxury travel magazine.
Hintlesham Hall hotel was named one of the 'best value experience' hotels in the country by Conde Nast Johansens.
The 32-room hotel is located just outside Ipswich.
Conde Nast writers said they loved "the magnificent Victorian grandeur of the Salon and Parlour rooms and the extensive herb garden".
According to the luxury magazine, the must-do pastimes while visiting the hotel are "golf at the adjacent Hintlesham Golf Club par 72 course, spa therapies in one of the beauty treatment rooms, and clay-pigeon shooting."
The Grade I listed hall dates back to the 1400s and features traditional architecture and decoration.
The hotel has become a popular wedding venue in the Ipswich area and is set amongst Suffolk's stunning rural scenery.
Hintlesham Hall was beaten to the top spot for best value by The Eastbury & Spa in Sherborne.
