A Suffolk student has won four medals in her first World Championships in Cardiff.
Gwennyth Brown, who attends Framlingham College, has won two silver medals, and two bronze medals at her first Karate WKA World Championships.
The 15-year-old competed against people from up to 23 countries across the four disciplines.
Miss Brown said: "It feels good to win these medals.
"It was quite a hard competition, but it was a really good experience competing against so many people from around the world."
Miss Brown started karate when she was nine years old, before taking a break due to school commitments, but she is now focused on succeeding in the sport.
She is currently a purple belt, two belts away from black.
At the championships, she competed in Korean kata and traditional kata in two separate weight categories.
While this was Miss Brown's first World Championships, she has competed in local tournaments winning multiple golds.
She said: "I would love to go to Italy next year to compete again in the World Championships."
