According to selling agent Lucy Banks, the property offers a “quite remarkable” position, enjoying an elevated yet rural setting on the outskirts of Westley Waterless, a small Cambridgeshire village near the Suffolk border.

The original property – which was known by the family as The Cottage – is thought to be Victorian, although considerable alterations and extensions have been made over the past 60 years. 

In the 1970s, the house was extended on both sides, but to a greater extent on the right, which has increased the square footage over both floors.
