Plans for over one hundred houses are set to be approved this week as part of a 1,100 strong development in Haverhill.

Persimmon Homes, the developer behind the northwest Haverhill project, are proposing a further 113 houses to progress phase 3b of their plans.

A reserved matters application will be brought to a meeting of the West Suffolk Council Development Control Committee on Wednesday, December 7.

The 241 houses which comprise the first two phases of the development in Ann Suckling Way are nearing completion, while the construction of a further 123 properties has also started.

This new reserved matters application seeks approval for 113 dwellings, associated private amenity space, car parking, vehicle and access arrangements and drainage, together with proposed areas of landscaping.

The proposals for the 2.41 hectares of land comprise apartments, terraces, semi-detached and detached units, with a focus on two- and three- bedroom properties, and also include 34 affordable houses.

The plans have been recommended for approval and will be considered by the West Suffolk Council Development Control Committee on Wednesday, December 7.
