An artisan chocolatier in Suffolk, which is run by a former journalist, is gearing up for Christmas.

The next focus of our 12 days of Christmas feature, is Cocoa Mama in Eye, Suffolk.

Run by former journalist, Helen Fraser, who decided she wanted a career change, after travelling the world and learning how to become a chocolatier.

While in Europe, she learnt how to blend fresh ganache, hand-roll soft melting truffle and mould chocolate pralines.

She also learnt from award-winning chocolatiers, Aneesh Popat, Marc Demarquette and completed courses with Jean Pierre Wybauw, known worldwide as 'Mr Chocolate'.

In 2009, Helen started making chocolates from her own kitchen, and in 2011, Cocoa Mama opened its doors and is now run by Helen and her husband Guy.

Cocoa Mama's recipes include single-estate chocolates, Suffolk honey and no artificial preservatives.
