Christmas Day is all about family, gifts and, most importantly, food.

It's the meal we all look forward to for the whole year and, in recent times, social media has been a place to 'rate my plate'.

The idea is simple - take a picture of your plate, post it online and be at the mercy of the Christmas dinner connoisseurs.

It throws up all kinds of debate: does a Yorkshire pudding belong on a Christmas dinner? Are brussels sprouts actually worth including? How many roast potatoes is too many roast potatoes?

There's no right answer, so personal preference is key here.

On Christmas Day, we asked our readers to send us their plates and they did not disappoint.

As you look through the submissions, judge them out of ten and let us know which one you think looks the tastiest in the comments and on social media!
