A Suffolk rock band has announced its first UK tour and released its first record, just four months after forming.
Billy Hunt & The Modern Classix will kick their UK tour off at the Sizewell Club in Leiston before going on to perform in London, Cambridge, Colchester, Birmingham and more.
The rock, indie, punk band is made up of four members all from Suffolk: Billy Hunt, the lead singer, Jake Boykew, rhythm guitarist, Ben Small, lead guitarist and Tim Lawrence, the drummer.
Lead singer, Mr Hunt, 25, said: "This is my first proper tour, I have done a few gigs in Liverpool and London and around Suffolk, but this is the first as a group.
"We have got a gig booked nearly every weekend up until June so far so things are going really well and we can't wait."
As well as their first UK Tour, the band are releasing their first record at the end of January, called No Occupation.
The band have also got a record label to help push their single in Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands.
They also have Moon Man Music PR who are bringing out the song in Australia, USA and the UK.
Mr Hunt continued: "I have been working my bum off for the last two years.
"Now, there are just so many opportunities and it is great.
"Sometimes, I can't even sleep I am so excited about what is to come."
Mr Hunt also hosts open mic nights for other musicians around Suffolk to come along too, while keeping up his band commitments.
These open mics are hosted in Framlingham, Halesworth, Aldeburgh, Knodishall and have also been held in Snape.
He said: "There is so much talent out there, and I feel like music does so much good for people.
"I sometimes wake up and my inbox is full of opportunities and emails and people asking whether I want to do something for them and I say yes absolutely.
"Everyone that plays at my open mic gets a free drink and at the end of the night, the owner of the venue picks someone to get a paid gig as well, so it is giving people opportunities."
Billy Hunt & The Modern Classix start their tour on January 28 in Leiston, which is the same night the single is released.
