The A140 is currently closed and is likely to remain shut for "several hours" after a crash involving a HGV.
Emergency services are currently at the scene of the single-vehicle crash in the southbound carriageway of the A140 near Brome.
The crash has happened close to the Roy Humphreys Industrial Estate.
In a tweet Suffolk police said a local diversion is currently in place and the road closure is likely to be in place for several hours.
Drivers are being advised to find alternative routes.
Nobody has been seriously injured in the crash.
