A three-bed barn conversion with "magnificent" countryside views has come up for sale in Suffolk for £895,000.

Elm Farm Barn, on the edge of Little Blakenham, has been sympathetically restored, renovated and extended to create a unique and beautiful family home. A spokesperson for selling agents, Clarke & Simpson, says it is "an individual, architect-designed old barn which has been sympathetically restored, with magnificent views across open pastureland [and] eady to move into."

The property is being constructed by Beechlake Developments, a local firm which has just completed work on The Fairways at Fynn Valley.

Directors Julian Pennington and Andy Coe, along with construction manager Barrie Pyke, have over 70 years’ experience in designing, developing and constructing high-quality homes.

The original barn is constructed of solid brick under a new slate roof and has been carefully extended using block walls and oak cladding.

The result is over 2,250 sq ft of flexible, free-flowing living space, which also includes the first floor of the neighbouring cart lodge. This features a shower room and utility space on the ground floor with a home office or potential bedroom space above.

The main living accommodation in the barn comprises a large, light-filled hallway leading to an open-plan kitchen/dining room to the right. The kitchen has been finished to an exceptional standard and boasts modern NEFF appliances, plenty of dining space and bi-fold doors that lead out and into the garden.

Off the opposite end of the hall is the living room, which looks south, over the garden, which is mainly laid to lawn and extends to around a third of an acre. The space offers plenty of landscaping opportunities for eager gardeners.

The master bedroom is located on the ground floor, complete with dressing room and en suite, and there are two further en suite bedrooms upstairs which are accessed by an oak staircase.

Outside, there is a large block-paved driveway, which provides ample off-road parking, and a south-facing patio.
