Candlesticks, a crucifix and a bottle of port have been taken from a countryside church in Suffolk.
According to Suffolk police, a burglary took place at the Parish Church of All Saints in Worlingham, near Beccles between 4pm and 6pm on Friday, January 20.
The intruders gained access by breaking the lock to the vestry.
Six silver-plated candlesticks, a silver-plated crucifix and a bottle of port were stolen.
The lock on an outside toilet was also damaged.
Two unknown males were seen "hanging around" the area of the church in Lowestoft Road, police added.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any further information is asked to contact Suffolk Police, quoting crime reference 37/4023/23.
