Two children have been accosted by men while walking in a village near Stowmarket.
One incident took place in Reeds Way in Stowupland at about 8.30am on Wednesday.
A 10-year-old girl was approached by a man who gestured to her to come to a van.
She refused and continued walking to meet her mum and a friend at school. There is no description of the van.
The second incident was in Church Road at about 9.30am on Thursday when a man shouted "come with me" to a 13-year-old.
The suspect was on foot and described as about six feet tall and of average build with black short hair.
He wore a black coat, jeans and black shoes.
It is not been confirmed the man is the same person but officers are linking the two incidents.
Police patrols have been conducted in the area and are appealing for asking anyone who knows who was responsible or is aware of a similar incident recently in the area to get in contact
Anyone with information related to the incidents is urged to contact Suffolk police, quoting crime reference number 37/6543/23 for the Reeds Way incident and 37/6551/23 for Church Road.
