Suffolk was top of the counties after an "incredibly successful" cross-country championships against their area rivals.
The Anglian Championships, held in Northampton, was contested by Suffolk, Norfolk, Northamptonshire, Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire.
128 Racers from various schools across the county came together to compete for Suffolk, with 16 youngsters representing in each of the eight races held throughout the day.
Suffolk won six of these eight, finishing second and third in the other two, and winning the overall event.
Chair of Suffolk Schools Athletics, Alistair Dick, said: "It was an incredibly successful day for Suffolk.
"I have been doing this role for seven or eight years now and I can't remember a time when we have won so many races.
"It was brilliant."
Racers from Woodbridge School, Sybil Andrews School in Bury St Edmunds and SET Ixworth all impressed, with Year 6 student Joshua Seaman finishing fourth in the minor boys race, his first competition.
Suffolk will now pick eight competitors for each race to go to the English Schools Championships next month, held in Nottingham.
