Ipswich Hospital staff received a royal visitor this week after a visit from Prince William.

The Duke of Cambridge visited the hospital, in Heath Road, in Ipswich, on Friday, February 10.

During the private visit he spoke with staff and thanked them for their work.

Sharing photographs from the visit, A spokesperson for East Suffolk and North Essex Foundation Trust said: “Today we were extremely pleased to be able to welcome Prince William to Ipswich Hospital as part of an informal, private visit with the East of England Ambulance Service, where he met a number of staff in our emergency department.

“It’s not every day the future king drops in!”
