A woman is on the search for her long-lost sibling, who, according to his birth certificate, was born in Ipswich.
Patricia Blythe, 74, from Birmingham, is on the hunt to find her half-brother, Lorne Sharpe, who was born in Ipswich in 1962.
According to Lorne's birth certificate, Lorne and Patricia share the same mum, who Patricia is also searching for, as she has not seen her for years.
Patricia was adopted by her grandparents at birth and said she was raised to not ask questions about her parents.
She said: "When I found out about Lorne 12 months ago, I couldn't get it out of my head.
"After a long search, we found his birth records. I was so very happy that I knew he really existed."
Lorne is 14 years younger than Patricia, meaning he would be around 60 years old now.
As it stands, that is all the information Patricia and the family have on Mr Sharpe, with there being no adoption records and no evidence of him on social media.
Mrs Blythe continued: "It would be amazing after all these years to find someone who I can finally connect with, a connection to our mother as well.
"I have a loving supportive family, and this would just be the icing on the cake."
UPDATE 📢 When one door closes, hopefully another one will open. Sadly, I wasn't reunited with my sister but I'm hopeful that this new information will help me find my brother, born as Lorne Sharpe https://t.co/PzY45BO0ge pic.twitter.com/qyIcxg1BPq
