A Bury St Edmunds woman is taking delight in 'helping people make their house the house of their dreams' with her new interior design showroom.

Aida Hysenaj, 33, has been enjoying the fruits of her labours as customers flock to her store, Chloe Interiors, in Bury St Edmunds.

"I want to help people make their house the house of their dreams," she said.

Selling "all kinds of products," she's travelled across Europe to cultivate a collection of luxury furniture, lighting and accessories.

Mrs Hysenaj said her recent opening event was "amazing" and she has been overwhelmed by the response she has received ever since.

The idea grew from a passion for interior design and she spotted a gap in the market for a showroom in Bury St Edmunds.

"I like to see what I buy," she said.

"And before we opened that just wasn't possible. This way, you don't have to go too far afield."

Mrs Hysenaj found the premises and loved the Out Northgate location, so decided to take the risk.

She added: "I wanted to try something new and it's always been my dream to do this.

"So I decided to take the leap from the online store to an in-person showroom."

The store's name, Chloe Interiors, has a rather unique origin.

Since high school, Mrs Hysenaj had always wanted a daughter named Chloe.

Her first two children were boys and, as she had named the first two, her husband was given the chance to name her third child, who turned out to be a daughter.

"He ended up naming her Hannah, so I decided this was going to be my Chloe," she said.

Mrs Hysenaj has been enjoying a steady flow of customers since Chloe Interiors opened and hopes she can continue to help people achieve the house of their dreams for the foreseeable future.
