A driving recruitment agency based in Suffolk is celebrating its 10th anniversary, playing a vital part during Covid and helping companies around the region.

Barr Personnel in Ipswich, first opened its doors on March 12, 2013, and in that time has helped companies from around East Anglia by providing them with lorry drivers.

During the pandemic, it helped companies and hospitals by delivering personal protective equipment.

It also provided up to 200 lorry drivers a day over the last 10 years to companies, priding itself on its loyal and honest approach.

CEO Barry Griffiths, who founded the company a decade ago, said: "I am incredibly grateful to have reached this 10-year milestone.

"Having learnt from previous employers what not to do, I used my pool of knowledge and got cracking.

"I appreciate every single one of my drivers, clients and office staff."

Barr Personnel also sponsors a bleed control kit which is installed in Ipswich and supports local athletes and teams, donating to local events.

Mr Griffiths continued: "I would like to reiterate how genuinely grateful I am for all the amazing people around me who have supported me throughout."
