A rogue trader offering cheap trees has been reported in one Suffolk village.
The salesman was spotted going door-to-door in Coddenham, near Needham Market, this week.
According to Suffolk Trading Standards, these individuals often visit the county and use the same "sales patter".
This will include phrases such as "last one", "great price", and "ex-exhibition stock".
Following this incident, residents are being warned to never buy at the door.
Anyone who is approached at their doorstep should make a report to Suffolk Trading Standards via 0808 223 1133.
When reporting doorstep incidents, key information such as the description of the individual and their vehicle, including the make, model and registration, should be supplied.
