The trial of a 47-year-old Suffolk man accused of strangling a woman will take place in April next year.
Before Ipswich Crown Court on Monday for a plea and trial preparation hearing was Robert Ames of The Causeway, Sudbury.
He pleaded not guilty to intentionally strangling a woman on July 16 last year, assaulting two men by beating and having a kitchen knife in Mizon Close, Hundon, Sudbury, on the same date.
His trial, which is expected to last four days, will take place during a two week warned list commencing April 2 next year.
A further case management hearing will take place on February 5 next year.
