A well-known BBC Radio 2 reporter has united with a "particularly stunning" portrait of herself that was created by a Suffolk artist.
Sally Boazman, who presents the traffic bulletins on the weekend shows, met up with Roman Benjamin at Eastern Frames in Haughley, near Stowmarket.
The creation came about after Radio 2's Dermot O'Leary, who works with Sally, urged listeners to submit their best images of 'Sally Traffic', as she is known.
Woodbridge resident Sally said some of the pictures were a "mixed bag" but there were others that stood out – particularly the one by Roman.
She said: "About 20 years ago I was asked to do a doodle for a charity, but it was so awful that it never sold.
"But a man in Haughley said he had found it and thought it was hilarious. He sent it into Dermot's show and it became a bit of a joke.
"We then asked readers to send in their pictures of me. We got about seven or eight and got in touch with Eastern Frames.
"It was decided that the images would be displayed at the shop. One was by a chap named Roman and his was the best."
Sally met up with the talented artist in the mid Suffolk village and said she wanted to highlight his work and thank him for his efforts.
She added: "Roman's portrait was particularly stunning.
"He is a regular customer and they are astonished by his talent."
Roman, 27, said: "I use Eastern Frames quite a lot and they told me about what Sally had drawn and they asked me if I wanted to do a piece.
"It was quite funny to meet her. To meet someone and realise you have captured them in a piece is quite amazing, really."
