An Ipswich Microshops cafe owner is 'super excited' to have opened his second cookie, coffee and bubble tea store in Bury St Edmunds.

Less than two years later, he has now opened the doors to his new premises in St John's Street in Bury.

"I'm super excited to be open," he said.

"I've always wanted to open in Bury St Edmunds as I worked and lived in the town for a couple of years and love the small community aspect of St John's Street."

Mr Stamp's new Cookie Barista store opened on Friday and is offering half price bubble tea on Saturday, March 18 and half price cookies on Sunday, March 19.

"I can't wait to welcome everyone," he added.

"Especially this weekend as we open for the first time."

As for the Ipswich branch of Cookie Barista, Mr Stamp says he has plenty of family and friends to hold the fort while he's setting up the Bury St Edmunds store.
