A Suffolk singer and his band are set to release their debut EP after seeing huge success with previous singles, amassing over 330,000 Spotify streams.
The Great Leslie are set to release their first EP, The End and The Beginning, on March 31.
The lead single from the EP, Can't Touch, secured the band's first major Spotify editorial playlist on release day, appearing on the streaming service's 'All New Rock' playlist.
The lead singer of the band, Ollie Trevers, grew up in Framlingham and attended Framlingham College when he was younger, with his parents also meeting at the school.
Mr Trevers has previously said: "Suffolk was a big part of my childhood.
"I come back every now and again."
Mr Trevers has previously said that he would like to buy a property somewhere in Suffolk in the future.
He is not the only music star to come from Framlingham, with Charlie Simpson, winner of The Masked Singer UK 2023 and Busted frontman, also attending the college, and Ed Sheeran attending Thomas Mills High School.
The Great Leslie has seen major success on Spotify with the thousands of streams on their songs but has also had over 140,000 views on YouTube.
They have also toured around the country and in France, and in October, supported Franz Ferdinand in Manchester.
They have also seen big success with their second single from the upcoming EP, Get In, which was included in Apple Music playlists, and peaked at Number 2 in the iTunes Alternative Charts.
The band, comprising of Mr Trevers, Ryan Lavender, Alfie Pawsey and Freddie Miles, said that due to previous success, they wanted to release the EP, and embarked on the venture in late November.
