New conditions on a development in a Suffolk village have been recommended for approval.
The village of Elmsett, near Hadleigh, is to see 18 new homes being built, after the original application was approved in January 2019.
The development will see the demolition of existing buildings, at Shrubland Park Nurseries, to be replaced by up to 18 homes as well as a commercial nursery, where plants are grown for sale, at the site at Maltings Farm on Whatfield Road.
The new application is for appearance, scale and landscaping details and reserved matters for the previous application, setting out the plans and materials for the new development.
According to the plans, the housing is to consist of around four one-bed flats, as well as eight two-bedroom, three three-bedroom and three four-bedroom houses.
Six of the houses are to be affordable houses that meet council guidelines.
In a meeting on Wednesday, April 5, Babergh Planning Committee recommended the new application was approved.
A decision will soon be made by Babergh District Council.
