The bomb squad carried out a controlled explosion after an unexploded mortar bomb was discovered at a nature reserve.
Police officers were called to Cavenham Heath Nature Reserve, near Tuddenham St Mary, on Sunday afternoon.
The Bomb Disposal Unit was later called and carried out at a controlled explosion on the mortar device.
A 50-metre cordon was put in place while officers dealt the incident.
People were advised to avoid the area while the incident was dealt with.
