A pub in a Suffolk village has been boarded up as a search for new tenants begins.

The Crown Inn at Snape, which is run by Adnams, is currently closed.

The Bridge Road venue has been shut and now joins the list of boozers that have closed down this year.

In January alone, four pubs across Suffolk closed their doors for good as a result of rising energy costs.

Nick Attfield, director of properties and retail at Adnams, said: “We are looking to assign the tenancy of The Crown Inn at Snape as soon as possible.”
