The car used in the award-winning BBC show, Detectorists, has sold at auction for just over £30,000.

The yellow Triumph TR7, first made in 1977, featured throughout the three seasons of the show that was filmed in Framlingham and other locations around Suffolk.

The car sold in an auction on April 28 for a fee of £30,200, with the cast also signing the boot of the car.

Various other props and memorabilia from the film has previously been sold to help fund the new community rooms in Framlingham.
