A plea hearing for two men accused of attempted murder following a stabbing in Colchester has been adjourned.
Before Ipswich Crown Court on Tuesday (May 9) were Joseph Little, 18, of St Mary’s Close, Panfield, near Braintree and Zac Henry, 18 of Maple Court, Cambridge.
They are both accused of attempted murder.
Little is also accused of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, criminal damage and affray.
Officers were called to Magdalen Street at around 11pm on Friday, March 31, following reports of a man sustaining stab wounds.
He was taken to hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.
A further hearing will take place on June 23 a provisional trial date was identified as September 25.
The trial is expected to last at least seven days.
Judge Emma Peters remanded both defendants in custody.
