Plans to change the name of a popular pub in Suffolk have been given the go-ahead.
An application was made to replace the current signs at The Weavers Tap in East Street, Sudbury, in March.
Documents submitted to Babergh District Council show the name of the pub would be changed to The Sudbury Arms.
A number of signs would be erected around the pub as part of a facelift.
The pub was previously known as The Silkworm before undergoing a £325,000 modernisation in 2018.
The Stonegate Group, which owns the pub, has been approached for comment.
