A school in Suffolk has received a Good rating from Ofsted, just two years after they were judged to require improvement.
The Ryes College & Community near Sudbury were inspected in March, where Ofsted found that they had turned things around.
The quality of education and leadership and management provisions were adjudged to be Requires Improvement in 2021, both of these were seen the be Good with all other provisions remaining the same.
The report states that 'pupils receive effective support' and 'pupils like school and re-engage with learning and do well.'
The independent special educational needs school has 23 pupils on its roll.
The report continued to say that since the previous inspection, 'leaders have improved how staff use the education, health and care plans to support pupils' needs'.
The leaders 'actions to support pupils' attendance are successful' and the pupils at the school 'value and trust staff'.
It also noted that suspensions, incidents and behavioural problems have reduced over time as a result of leaders' high-expectations on behaviour.
