A man has been charged in connection with two burglaries in Lowestoft.
The first incident happened on Saturday, May 20, at Birds Eye Ltd in Whapload Road and a trophy was stolen.
Another theft occurred on Monday, May 22, at Lovey Dovey shop in the Britten Centre and jewellery was stolen.
A man was arrested on Tuesday, May 23, in connection with the incidents and was taken to Great Yarmouth police station.
Malcolm Smith, aged 65 and of no fixed abode, was subsequently charged with two counts of theft.
He appeared before Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, May 24, and the case was adjourned until June 7.
