Two Suffolk residents will be thanking their lucky stars after scooping £100,000 each in June's Premium Bonds prize draw.

The winning bonds were purchases in August 2017 and December 2017 respectively.

The draw did not reveal the specific locations of the winners.

A further three residents picked up £50,000 prizes, two more received £25,000 and 11 won £10,000.

In October, someone from Suffolk was named as one of two people to hit the jackpot and win the £1million prize.

Premium Bonds are an investment product issued by National Savings and Investment.

Unlike other investments, where investors earn interest or a regular dividend income, bonds are entered into a monthly prize draw where people can win between £25 and £1m tax free.

Premium Bonds are available by investing at least £25.

Last month, another Suffolk resident won £100,000 in the draw.
