As the Suffolk Show drew to a close on Thursday evening, the crowds’ energy levels showed no signs of drooping.

Awards galore were given out to show jumpers, cattle handlers, FMX biking and many more besides.

Some were seasoned visitors of the show, while others were experiencing this spectacular event in the county calendar for the very first time.

This was the case for Lucas, aged almost two years old. His mum, Tara, said that he had been having a wonderful time riding around on tractors and meeting all the animals. Impressively, he still had energy running into the afternoon and was not quite ready to return to his buggy.

Meanwhile, siblings Reggie and Vivi enjoyed themselves immensely and were pleased when dad John bought them a restorative ice lolly.

The Suffolk Show attracts between 86,000 and 90,000 people to the county each year, and this year looks to have been another record-breaker
