Two motorcyclists suffered serious injuries after a crash in a Suffolk village which saw the air ambulance called out.
Emergency services were called to the A1092 Lower Road in Glemsford at about 4pm on Friday after reports of a three-vehicle crash.
The incident involved a white Mercedes Sprinter van, a black Kawasaki motorcycle and an Orange KTM motorcycle.
Both motorcyclists were taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital – one via air ambulance and the other by land ambulance.
The two riders – a man aged in his 30s and a man aged in his 50s – both sustained serious injuries, with the injuries of the man aged in his 30s described as potentially life-changing.
The road was closed for a number of hours while emergency services attended the scene.
