Enjoy secret gardens across Suffolk in all their spring glory, with a whole host of events planned in July. 

The National Garden Scheme (NGS) gives unique access to private gardens across the country as it raises money for nursing and health charities through admissions, tea and cake. 

Tickets can be purchased on the NGS website or, for most places, it will be possible to turn up on the day.

Saturday, July 1

1. Foxgrove and Maynall House

Two new gardens will be open to the public between 2pm and 5pm. 

Tickets cost £5 and children go free. 

There will also be homemade teas available.

Sunday, July 2

2. Reydon Grange

Another new garden opening to the public in July. 

The garden will be open between 11am and 4pm.

Friday, July 7 

3. Helmingham Hall

The well-known Suffolk landmark is opening up its gardens to the public in July.

4. Squires Barn

A young and evolving garden of some including an orchard the garden is well worth a visit.

After taking a walk around the gardens be sure to try out the homemade cakes and scones.
