A Suffolk butchers has announced it will be expanding by taking over a coffee shop. 

Thurston Butchers, in Thurston's School Road, has revealed they are the new owners of Rossa Coffee and Crepes in the village. 

After moving into the Station Hill premises, they will be redecorating before officially reopening.

"Delighted to announce that we're going to be taking over Rossa Coffee Shop here in Thurston," said a spokesperson on social media. 

"I'm super excited to be bringing some banging coffee, food, shakes and service to our amazing village.

"We're going to be redecorating and updating the space so expect a closure for approx 1-2 weeks whilst we get everything in order."
