A restaurant in a Suffolk town has been forced to shut due to the "rising costs of maintenance" after eight years.
Under The Eagle in Crown Walk, Newmarket, announced it would be closing its doors at the end of last month.
The huge rise in costs was cited as a pivotal factor in the closure.
"The decision was influenced by a number of factors and we are no longer able to operate the restaurant. Unfortunately the rising costs of maintenance have forced us to close our house," a spokesperson for the restaurant said.
"Running a business these days is very challenging.
"We would like to thank all of you individually for being with us for these eight years. At that time we were promoting Polish culture in decor and traditional old Polish and hunting cuisine.
"We hope that someday you'll remember us and those memories will be only good ones."
It is the latest restaurant in Newmarket to close down.
The Waffle Hut in Fred Archer Way shut at the beginning of June.
