A popular sandwich shop on Felixstowe seafront has expanded into much larger premises on the High Road.

Lotty's Sandwich Shop and Tearoom has reopened after closing for four weeks to move into the premises next door.

"It was really busy yesterday," said business owner Charlotte Gosling.

"We had lots of people coming back, or phoning up to book a table.

"We also had some great feedback, which was lovely."

Based on High Road, the takeaway sandwich business has grown to include a tearoom.

"The opportunity came up to open a shop next door," said Ms Gosling.

"We now also serve cream teas, coffees and cakes, all-day breakfasts and light bites, which customers can eat in our tearoom."

This news follows a tough time last year, when Lotty's Sandwich Shop had to close at the weekends early on in the summer due to the soaring costs of food.
