The A14 was partially blocked after a crash involving a lorry and a van.
Officers were called to the collision on the eastbound carriageway, near Woolpit, at about 12.50pm on Monday.
Both lanes were initially blocked as a result of the crash.
However, a spokesperson for Suffolk police confirmed one lane reopened shortly after.
No injuries have been reported.
