After a spell of wet and gloomy weather, the sun is finally shining in Suffolk - but is it here to stay?
Wind and rain has meant July has seen much cooler and wetter weather compared to this time last year, when the county was hit with 40C heat.
Although the sun is shining on much of the county, it will not be sticking around for long.
Forecasts show heavy rain will sweep through Suffolk on Wednesday evening and into the early hours of Thursday, while some areas will see rain during the day tomorrow.
Cloudy skies will take over in Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds and the area on Friday ahead of the weekend.
The weekend will see mostly bright skies for the entire county with highs of 21C, although there is a possibility of rain in the afternoon on Saturday.
