A yellow weather warning for heavy rainfall and thunderstorms has been issued for Suffolk.
The Met Office warning which covers the whole county will be in place from 9am to 7pm on Wednesday.
A spokesman for the Met Office said that people should expect very heavy downpours, accompanied by thunder and lightning.
There could also be some damage to buildings and structures from lightning strikes and there is a good chance that driving conditions will be affected by spray, standing water and hail, leading to longer journey times in cars and buses.
Power cuts are also expected tomorrow.
