A woman has been arrested after she was found with 70 bags of cocaine while driving along the A14.
Officers stopped a Fiat Punto that was driving along the eastbound carriageway near Bury St Edmunds on Monday.
During a search of the car police found 70 bags containing cocaine, two mobile phones and an extendable baton.
The driver, a 25-year-old woman, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and possession of an offensive weapon.
She was taken to Bury St Edmunds police investigation centre, where she remains for questioning.
