Plans for a new art installation in parkland near a Grade II-listed Suffolk country house have been approved.
German artist Mariele Neudecker is creating the new artwork of the masts and bowsprit from a sailing vessel in the grounds surrounding Darsham House.
The installation, which has been exhibited at country house estates in the UK, will be positioned next to a public footpath so everyone can enjoy viewing it.

A heritage statement by NJ Architects, agents for applicant Edgar Laguinia, stated that the artwork would not have any impact on the listed property.
The statement to East Suffolk Council said: "By virtue of the placement of the art installation and the zero impact it has on the listed property, we feel that this should be approved."
