A Suffolk family-run pub has been named the best rural inn in the region.
The Green Man Inn in Tunstall has been named the best family-run rural pub in Suffolk for 2023 at the Southern Enterprise Awards.
The pub, which is run by Simon and Lucia Lucas, reopened in 2020 after it was left shut for three years.
It is the village's only pub and is right at the heart of the community.
When they opened the pub, Mr and Mrs Lucas said their goal was to reinvigorate the pub with a “welcoming” atmosphere serving a range of locally-sourced meals, snacks and beverages.
The pub is also regarded as one of the best places for al fresco dining in the county.
The Woodbridge Road eatery has a large and spacious garden to take in the sun and enjoy a cold pint and delicious food.
