A Suffolk walk and pub pit stop have been named among 10 of the best in the country.

The Telegraph has named its top summer walks in Britain which end in a 'perfect' pub garden, and a Suffolk location has made the list.

The Dunwich to Westleton Circular is an eight-mile round trip from the picturesque seaside village across the Dunwich and Westleton Heaths.

The route skirts RSPB Minsmere, where trekkers might spot all manner of wildlife, including red deer and birdlife, which are busy breeding across the season.

Hikers should stop for a drink in The Westleton Crown, the garden of which is particularly picturesque, before heading back across the heaths to The Ship at Dunwich, the Crown's sister pub.

Tired (and likely hungry) walkers can enjoy a delicious evening meal here before checking in (with their furry friends) to one of the stylish rooms for the night.

The round route should take walkers around four hours in total - perfect for a sunny summer afternoon.
