A new film featuring actors from Sex Education and Peaky Blinders will be shown at a Suffolk village hall after it was shot in locations nearby.
Kindling, a film shot in locations including the Stansfield Compasses, Hawkedon and Chevington Hall, will be shown at Stansfield Village Hall on August 25 after the film's distributor, Signature Entertainment, granted special them special permission.
During filming in 2021, the cast and crew which included Sex Education star George Somner, Peaky Blinders actor Conrad Khan and Wilson Mbomio who had a part in The Witcher, used Stansfield Village Hall as their base.
Kindling, director Connor O'Hara's debut film, follows a group of men who return home to turn their friend Sid’s (George Somner) final days into a celebration of his life.
Rex Barnes, Chair of Stansfield Parish Council, said: "It is not surprising that a lovely, unspoilt, vibrant village like Stansfield should feature in a film.
"We are all looking forward to seeing it at our Village Hall on August 25th."
Tickets are £5 and are available to buy online or on the door.
